My name is Rebecca Pond. I am an experienced Integrative Therapist specialising in Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT). I work from an integrative perspective, which means I can incorporate other theories and approaches that I have studied, these include Person Centred Therapy (PCT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt and Mindfulness.
I have worked in Adult Mental Health for the past 5 years, in a specialist NHS psychological therapies service helping adults with enduring depression and anxiety. I have also worked in a variety of mental health settings while completing my Psychology Degree and Counselling Diploma.
In sessions you will have the space to share what is going on for you. We will work together with curiosity, exploring your difficulties and what you hope to achieve from therapy. Sessions can offer you clarity on what it is you need and
enable you to make changes to help you reach your goals, improve your sense of self, connection with others and general well-being.
I work therapeutically with adults for a range of reasons including:
