I'm Dr Tina Vaughan, and I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist with 20 years experience working for the NHS as well as in the private sector. I have an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth and a Doctorate in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of Exeter. I have completed a PGDip and am now finalising a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology with Bristol University.
I’ve worked with individuals from all walks of life, helping them navigate a wide range of emotional, psychological and neurological challenges with care, understanding and evidence-based support. This has deeply informed my practice and shaped my ability to tailor interventions to each person’s unique experiences, values and cultural context. I place great importance on collaboration, compassion and working with an integrative approach to ensure that therapy is meaningful and relevant for each client.
A key part of my approach is identifying and building on each person’s strengths and resilience. I enjoy working with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), positive psychology, and strengths-based approaches as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Within these therapies, I aim to help people reconnect with what matters to them and develop tools for managing life’s challenges more confidently.Whether you're seeking support for emotional well-being, navigating a difficult life transition, or adjusting to unexpected changes in your life, I offer a collaborative and compassionate space where we can work together to move toward meaningful change.
I work with adults offering support for a wide range of emotional, psychological, and neuropsychological difficulties, including:
