I’m Olivia Pollard, a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience working with children, young people, and families within CAMHS since 2019 and special interest in neurodiversity.

Prior to this I worked as a support worker in a residential home for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I am trained in ADOS assessments and contribute to autism screening by completing developmental histories.

Alongside assessment work, I offer post-diagnostic ‘making sense’ sessions, supporting children, adults and families after a neurodevelopmental diagnosis. These sessions provide a calm, supportive space to explore what a diagnosis means, ask questions, and gently unpick how strengths and difficulties show up in everyday life. I am passionate about helping others understand the way they see the world and why they are facing their current challenges.

I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental environment where individuals and families feel listened to and understood. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping people make sense of their experiences at their own pace and feel more confident about next steps.

In my personal life I love spending time with my one year old cocker spaniel Willow. I am also passionate about keeping active to support my wellbeing and spending time outdoors, including regular sea swimming.
