My name is Charlotte and I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years' experience working in the NHS. I have an honours Degree in Experimental Psychology, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Since qualifying I have worked mainly with adults in community mental health settings. However, over the past 14 years I have specialised in diagnosing adults with Autism Spectrum Conditions and providing them with post diagnostic support using a range of individual and group therapies.

My approach has always been to tailor the therapies I have been trained in which include; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I work non-judgementally with people on their unique and specific hopes, challenges and expectations.

In autism in particular, clients bring many strengths to therapy. One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is to collaboratively help discover these strengths and use them creatively to tackle current issues and difficulties.

I am also able to support clients who need ongoing support following an autism diagnosis with personal identity, life transitions, emotional regulation, relationships, perfectionism and avoidance.

As well as enjoying my work, I love spending time with my family, friends and dog. I enjoy reading, music and walking but I’m also partial to watching box sets while doing the ironing.
